Civil Engineer (Telabastagan, Pampanga)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the site operations/implementation involving structural and related civil works

Assist and ensures proper work execution in accordance with the approval structural plans and specifications

Coordinate structural and civil works of contractors and other trade works

Monitors ongoing construction to ensure that the work is being done as per approved specifications and plans and the project stays on schedule.

Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Direct engineering activities ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.

Facilitate submittal and the preparation of shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI) and other related field drawings and documents.

Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Obtain bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering field from a reputable college or university and possessing a valid PRC licensed or its equivalent

3-5 years of project/construction management experience, including tracking and planning projects

Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

Good leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

With experience in leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close

Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies

Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
