Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) New passer hiringPosition: Quality Risk Audit Operations (QRAO)Salary offer: Earn up to 31,000Work Set-up: Temporary WFH / HybridAccount: Pure Non-voiceSchedule: Morning Shift & Weekends offLocation: QC, Alabang, TaguigJob Qualifications:• College Graduates and Undergraduates of any course• AAPC or AHIMA Certified or any equivalent Medical Coding Certification• Understanding of ICD-9 or ICD-10 Coding in relation to DRGs• Must be amenable to work onsite if neededTypes of Coding Certifications are accepted:- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)- Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)- Certified Professional Biller (CPB)- Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA)- Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO)- Certified Documentation Expert Outpatient (CDEO)- Certified Documentation Expert Inpatient (CDEI)- Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM)Roles and Responsibilities• Adhere to and maintain required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivity• Identify appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-9 Codes for Physician and facility services provided in an Observation service setting, and Inpatient setting• Abstract additional data elements during the Chart Review process when coding, as needed• Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned Client Coding specifics• Perform Coding duties as appropriate according to pre-determined schedules• Review and maintain a record of charts coded, held, and/or missing• Provide documentation feedback to Providers, as needed, and queries physicians when appropriate• Maintain up-to-date Coding knowledge by reviewing materials disseminated/recommended by the QM Manager, Coding Operations Managers, and Director of Coding/Quality Management, among others• Participate in Coding department meetings and educational event
