Job Description:
Audits category assortments in the stores. Provides input to Core Merchandise Manager's planning activity. Reviews/makes the final recommendation to Core Merchandise Manager on markdowns/markups; prepares price events and POS corrections, if necessary. Reviews repeat orders as necessary. Gives feedback to Core Merchandise Manager on respective category specialization during selection. Suggests merchandise to be purchased based on turnover, current trends, and customer preferences. Ensures availability and order of stocks proportionate to merchandise movements. Totals and submits to Merchandise Manager all purchases at the end of the day. Computes for Open-To-Buy and orders merchandise according to available OTB. Gives directions on pricing and audits implementation in the stores Reviews and analyzes sales reports and updates the same based on changes in business/market trends through Business Intelligence (BI). Checks impact of promotions; audits implementation and corresponding sales increment. Recommends in-store exclusives as the need arises. Checks store display and recommends to Display Officer what items to highlight. Checks timelines of deliveries Checks merchandise received through MMS and confers with Merchandise Manager pending or undelivered POs for cancellation. Reviews Transfers, Damages and Aging stocks; Recommends actions to be taken Gives feedback to Core Merchandise Manager on merchandising concerns from the branches. Canvasses market for merchandise mix, prices, competitive activities and trends. Gives feedback regarding competitors. Recommends and initializes category plotting for new stores. Encodes Sales Plans and Promotions on system. Reviews Consignor’s Checklist / Consignor’s Advisory Form. Supports Management decisions, requirements and expectations. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time. Minimum Qualifications:
Female Bachelor's Degree in Management/ID/Fine Arts and or Marketing Pleasing personality Microsoft Office proficiency Effective communication skills (Oral/Written) with 5-8 years of managerial experience
