Leveraging our 10 years of industry experience, we have successfully trained over 20,000 to 25,000 coffee shop owners and accumulated valuable experience with numerous well-known brands.Job OverviewA Café Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of a cafe, including scheduling staff, training employees, ordering supplies, monitoring finances, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. They also nurture customer relationships, resolve issues, and strive to create a popular and reputable local cafe.Responsibilities and DutiesSupervise day-to-day operations of the cafeHire and onboard new staff and baristasTrain employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipmentCoordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients)Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expensesAdd new menu items based on seasonality and customers' preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks)Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer serviceEnsure all cafe areas are clean and tidyNurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputationQualificationsWork experience as a Cafe Supervisor or Barista for at least three (3) yearsHands-on experience with professional coffee machinesGood math skillsAvailability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a teamCustomer service attitude and expert customer service experienceBachelor's Degree is a plusAdditional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality) is a plusPerks and BenefitsPaid LeavesSales CommissionTransportation Allowance
