Cad Designer

Genneral Staircase is a leader in the staircase manufacturing industry in Sydney.

Continued growth requires us to seek two more Design/Drafting staff, to be based in our Makati office in Manila. You will be designing stairs and balustrading, mostly in SolidWorks, in unison with our estabished dynamic team in Sydney.

Your position will have a pivotal role in the process between orders and production. You will be required to create accurate workshop drawings for production and installation by liaising with our Operations team. A good knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software is a distinct advantage. Speed, accuracy and maturity are key attributes that will help you succeed in your role.

To be successful, you will need the following:
Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering/Drafting or similar
Excellent English language skills (a must)
Experience in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD programs
Experience in problem solving technical design issues
An ability to read and understand building plans and workshops drawings
Time management skills ensuring deadlines are kept and client's expectations are always met
Be a quick learner with a positive attitude and an ability to work in a team
Above average experience in the use of SolidWorks and creating parts, assemblies and models for use in manufacturing industry

We will train you to be expert in the art of stair and balustrade design and construction.

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent.
Required skill(s): SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD programs
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
