Business Analyst

AVON Order Management System (OMS) uses Microsoft Dynamics AX package for AVON specific business needs. The job responsibility of this position is includes:Analyze business requirements and work with subject matter experts to design and develop the high quality technical solutions in Microsoft Dynamics AX by using X++, VB, .Net, ASP, XML and Java technical skills.
Hands on development using X++
Performs detailed Gap Analysis between current (As Is) and future (To Be) state business processes models.
Prepare solution documentations on the new functional logic design, structure charts and flows.
Design, develop and work with developers/programmers closely to ensure the solution are delivered and implemented accurately
Performs troubleshooting database objects and fine tuning performance issue with knowledge in Oracle and MS SQL.
Communicate with Global OMS Administrator, DBA, System Administrators, Network Infrastructure team and Service Delivery team closely during SDLC/CDB process.
Communicate the scope change, schedule risk, technical challenges effectively to the PMs and critical stakeholders so to mitigate the risks.
Provide status update to the PMs or the other relevant stakeholders at regular basis
Continuous follow up on new release or Microsoft Dynamics AX patches for upgrade and fixes.
Provide functional and technical support to local IT and operations users on Microsoft Dynamics AX system issues or inquiry.
Identifies system’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
Provide training to business users on the Microsoft Dynamics AX system.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in business analysis and software development projects.
System development skill on X++, VB 6.0, VS Studio.NET, ASP, XML and Java
Experience in development, enhancements and integrations in business applications
Experience in working with Oracle and MS SQL Server database
