We currently have a Business Analyst position available. This position will be responsible for supporting the International Business process scope and objectives as they relate to the SAP systems and supporting technologies in the areas of Sales and Distribution, and Finance. The key objectives of these positions will be to analyze and evaluate existing and proposed systems and devise or modify processes and procedures to solve business problems.Responsibilities:
Work with various technology and business specialists to provide solutions which are consistent with the global MIS strategic direction and platform standards.
Further extend the benefits of our SAP environment by effectively understanding relevant business processes so that they can be modeled in internal systems. Diagnose problems, develop and implement solutions in an SAP environment.
Work closely with key business and technical members on technology projects and tasks, identifying and implementing automated or manual procedures or configuration changes.
Leverage standards around integration of SAP systems with other technologies and systems.
Perform highly complex tasks dealing with the analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions serving business processes and functional areas.
Provide necessary coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with business process owners and functional leaders.
Define and document scope and requirements for new configuration and development to meet changing business requirements.
Provide support to end users and maintenance of environment in compliance with established service level agreements.
Assist project manager in defining, scheduling and budgeting tasks.
Provide guidance to the business and functional areas in developing tests, training plans and materials.
Complete detailed system design and write functional specs for development. Perform configuration changes and/or prepare design specifications for ABAP and BI programmers.
Drive improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions.
Proactively contribute to an overall global IT strategy via direct experience in tactical projects and specific user requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years general IT experience, including systems development experience in the design and development of department-wide or enterprise-wide applications
Minimum of three (3) years systems experience required in SAP or other ERP modules
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of SAP systems and/or business analysis design concepts
Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual skills
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
Team player with the ability to work with others in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems, as well as work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions
Solid organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and timelines
Willingness to learn new technologies and be open to new opportunities
Strong conceptual and analytical skills; success in working on high-impact cross-functional teams
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
