Qualifications:- With or without experience is acceptedDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.- Create and recommend signature drinks based on customer preferences.- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.- Take drink orders, provide recommendations, and engage in conversations to enhance the overall customer experience.- Demonstrate expertise in mixology by accurately measuring, mixing, and presenting drinks.- Stay updated on current beverage trends and continually expand drink repertoire.- Input drink orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments accurately.- Handle cash transactions, give change, and maintain an organized cash drawer.- Promote daily specials, happy hour offerings, and upsell premium beverages.- Encourage customers to try new or signature drinks.- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.- Monitor and restock bar inventory, including garnishes, glassware, and spirits.- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating customer needs and preferences.- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.- Adhere to responsible beverage service guidelines and legal drinking age requirements.- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards.- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, barbacks, and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate service during peak hours.- Train and mentor new bar staff on beverage preparation techniques, customer service, and company policies.- Continuously develop skills and knowledge in mixology and customer service.
