An AU Tax Accountant is expected to: Assist with the preparation of financial statements by accounting standards Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed Prepare management accounts Help identify accounting issues Apply basic Australian tax compliance procedures Assist with Australian tax planning for clients Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts Complete requisite regulatory forms Complies with the lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements What it takes to be part of our team: Business / Commerce degree with an Accounting major Commencement of CPA or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in Australian tax accounting (non-negotiable) Preferably with Xero experience Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team What's in it for you?
