POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Scheduler position is responsible for managing effective overall F&B department manning schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise with Department Head on operational requirements.
- Roster Planning based on department requirements and on-hand FTE. Rotations management.
- Leaves Management such as annual leaves quotas, outstanding balances, sick leaves records and other leaves (no paid leave, marriage leave, compassionate leave,
maternity leave etc.).
- Regular Roster analysis based on changes in operational requirements and future projects.
- Maintain appropriate skills level & proficiency.
- Evaluate training requirements for operations.
- Maintain work rules in VR.
- Employee management: work pattern, new intakes, resignations, promotions, higher duty roles etc. Time & attendance records from Time Manager approval (daily check)
- Payroll cut-off: prepare pay code summary reports based on the T&A approved in Time Manager for Payroll team.
- Payroll adjustments: verify and process pay codes adjustments for payment discrepancy.
- Process shift swaps and leaves applications.
- Process special requests such as shift requests, day off requests etc.
- Be familiar with local labor law and relevant company policies as this will affect scheduling practices to be implemented.
- Liaise with VR Administration Team about system performance and new features implementation.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- 1-3 years working experience in an Administrative role in Operation Department.
With experience in Managing Manning Schedule would be an advantage
Education
- Secondary school certificate or equivalent professional training
Skills / Competencies
- Ability to communicate in English
- Computer literate in MS Office.
Other Attributes
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 kg on frequent basis without assistance.
- Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis.
- Ability to work on overtime when needed.
- Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environments such as, but not limited to noise, heat, dust, and fragrances.
