Hello, my name is JD Apolo, Head of Video Post-Production at TNT, and I need your help. I joined TNT 8 years ago to build our video editing team here in Cavite. It's been an amazing time as we grew from nothing to a talented team of 25+ video editors. But we're only just getting started. We have an ambitious goal to double in 2024, which means a lot more ads being produced, lots more projects to manage, and lots more details to sort out, etc. That's where you come in.
We need to bring on a creative coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly from our copywriters to our creative producers to our video editors and everything in between. We produce over 400 pieces of video creative weekly – a number that grows significantly each month. Our clients depend on us to deliver quality creative on time. You'll make an immediate impact by removing the administrative burden that's shared by our video editors. That wins them back time to produce more videos at higher quality and help our clients hit their goals more easily.
What's the Ideal Candidate's Background? The ideal candidate is fluent in English, comes from a video background, and knows the technical details of pre-production, production and post-production. You've successfully managed a high volume of creative before in a fast-paced environment and have delivered assets with high quality.
You thrive on process, organization, systems and efficiency. You love to dig in to make things run smoother, faster, better, and more predictably. You've got incredible attention to detail, are meticulous with everything you do and have a reputation for being extraordinarily reliable.
What's It Like Working at TNT? I've gone to great lengths to set up a culture that supports rapid learning and success for everyone in our video creative team. Moreover, we're extremely heavily focused on collaboration and teamwork to ensure we have proper coverage across all our clients.
For example, we've structured our video team into various cells wherein junior and senior editors work together on particular client creative assets. Everyone on the video editing team marches to the beat of the same drum, focused on the single goal of helping clients hit their spend and ROAS targets.
What Will You Be Responsible for? You'll be responsible for ensuring all of the administrative details for our video creative production process are taken care of. For example, all scripts, links, references, footage and instructions are complete. All tickets from our creative producers are assigned appropriately to video editors. All time estimates are realistic. All footage is reviewed for quality control. And most importantly, ensuring that all assets are delivered on time and on spec.
How Will Your Time Be Spent? While any given week can vary based on client demands, here's roughly how it shakes out:
20% performing quality control on video assets 10% ensuring technical specifications are adhered to 30% project managing all creative deliveries to ensure they're on time 40% coordinating and assigning tickets, including negotiation of deadlines Requirements 2+ Years Video Production Experience – Ideally working in an agency environment as a coordinator or assistant editor, exposed to all facets of video production Fluent Written and Spoken English – You can both speak and write fluently in English Meticulously Organized – You have a knack for organizing, easily sorting through complex details, ensuring everything is in the right place Consistent and Reliable – You've gained a reputation as someone others can count on to get the job done when time is tight and there's lots to manage Excellent Project Manager – Adept at managing multiple streams of work simultaneously, communicating clearly to the team and assigning tasks resourcefully Ownership Mindset – Takes extreme pride in submitting high-quality work that's on time, on spec, been double checked, meetings all compliance guidelines, etc.
