Job description
New Orleans, LA
Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine is seeking applications for Assistant Professor positions in the Infectious Diseases Section. Candidates with experience in specialized infectious diseases will be considered. A successful applicant will have a strong background in clinical research as well as clinical care.
Qualifications include a medical degree and licensure in the State of Louisiana. PhD or MS/MPH degree in Clinical Research, post-doctoral fellowship experience, demonstrated potential to establish independent research programs and interest in collaborative research is strongly desired.
Approximately 80% of salary will be supported through the NIH and other sponsored programs. The remaining time will be devoted to clinic responsibilities. Review of applications will begin as soon as possible and applications will be accepted and reviewed until the position is filled.
Qualifications
MD
MS/MPH, MSc, or PhD, preferred
Licensure in the State of Louisiana
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Board-Eligible in Infectious Diseases
