Assistant Accountant, Non-Gaming Cost Control

Assists in the daily, weekly and month end task.
Reviews the transactions in inventory system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; This includes reviewing the daily direct purchases, warehouse/ outlet transfers, outlets cost transfers.
Reviews food and beverage recipes to ensure appropriate margins are maintained.
Runs daily sales reports.
Reviews daily cost transfers to ensure that reasonable quantity and type of transfers are done within kitchens/ outlets.
Links recipes to ensure that all menu item sales are linked to a relevant recipe
Conducts a daily / weekly spot check and monthly stock take on warehouse and outlets inventory items.
Assists in updating figures of inventory balance, cost of sale, spoilage/wastage and stock take variance account to ensure P&L accuracy.
Prepares the daily food and beverage cost report.
Monitors the warehouse and outlet open transactions.
Works with management to help devise and implement business improvement projects.
Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Ensures all are accurately posted in the system
Ensures all sales are accurately posted in the system
Ensures all physical count are accurately done in compliance with the company’s SOP
Provides daily food and beverage cost reports to outlets and recommendations to assist in meeting budget requirements
Monitors of spoilage/wastage
Monthly reporting of spoilage/wastage
Daily reporting of consolidated food and beverage costs
Monthly reporting of physical stock take results
Ability to communicate to all levels of management

Minimum 2-year experience in management accounting or analysis preferably in the F&B / hospitality sector
Experience in the gaming industry or in large hotel environment with multiple F&B outlets preferred
Tertiary education in Finance / Business discipline
Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization
Very good PC skills, particularly Excel
Self-starter, mature, confident
Able to work with all levels of staff
Demonstrated ability to work without supervision
High level of motivation and discipline to achieve business objectives andcommon goals
