Responsibilities
ACCOUNTING
Accountable for ensuring service delivery according to the global process model and agreed service level agreements and KPIs
Dunning & Portfolio Collections Management
Communicates with escalated customer to ensure timely collections of company receivables
Ensures that credit limit and risk and exposures are reviewed on a timely basis
Works with customers, business accountants, sales and operations to resolve disputes that may arise from billing issues, documentation issues, etc
Reconcile payments received against invoices being paid
Performs other duties as assigned by direct superiors and managers
Regular liaisons with the state authorities, the bank and other partners
REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION
Preparation and review of team’s customer Aging Report and collections report
Conducts regular catch up/performance calls with the country assigned
Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of audit team
COMPLIANCE AND AUDITS
Assisting with financial and tax audits
PROJECT AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Accountable for people management (selection, training, appraisal, retention and development)
Act as escalation point and manage complaints at managerial level as well as track solutionsQualifications
At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable of which at least 4 years in a similar (department/process) lead role
In-depth end-to-end process knowledge of one of the processes mentioned above
Outstanding customer service orientation and communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Excellent analytical skills and very strong continuous improvement skills
Excellent English language skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Previous SAP experience is also a plus
Ability to lead, develop and mentor team members
High flexibility and ability to work independently
Strong and strategic business understanding and an excellent ability to understand and manage complex situations in a fast paced environment
