Aquaculturist

Job Description:
The chosen candidate will be assigned in the province, he/she will work under the supervision of a Biologist, Hatchery Manager or Regional Supervisor. He/she will be responsible but not limited to the following:


Supplies hands on technical assistance in accurate data gathering, recording, programming and statistically analyzing data pertaining to fisheries research, culture and/or management. Will operate, maintain, repair and construct various types of sampling data analysis equipment and aquaculture equipments. Will be working on field to conduct surveys Administer and execute policies relating to operations, train, supervise and assist workers

Conduct routine maintenance of your facility and equipment

Minimum Qualifications:
A graduate od BS Fisheries or related field.Two (2) years' experience working in a company dealing with aquaculture or similar position may substitute for education requireemnts One-year related experience in Fishery/ Aquaculture Knows the basic fishery/ aquaculture techniques Proficient in using Microsoft Office Willing to be assigned in the province Can work with minimal supervision Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as well as work independently
