SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
•Developcross-product functional and technical designs as well as unit test scripts forfeatures of any complexity
•Buildcode and unit test highly complex program units
•Handlesource code and release management issues
•Debug,fix and unit test product defects of any complexity and handle customerescalations
•Managetechnical aspects of complex technical issues
•Performdesign and code reviews, and participate in reviews of other developmentdocument deliverables
•Demonstratecomplex business flows to Quality Assurance engineers, product analysts andtechnical writers
•Contributeto the definition of the team processes and standards
•Coordinatethe work of a team of engineers in the delivery of complex projects
•Contributeto the definition of technical product architecture
•Provideguidance and direction to junior staff
RELEVANTEXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
1.PossessB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
2.Possess 8+ work experience in software engineering with advanced level in both C/C++, Java programming languages
3. Minimum 80% of the time was spent on hands-on coding.
4.Possessat least one commercial relational database and middleware technologiesexperience
5.Possesswork experience in shell (bash/csh) onUnix platforms
6.Demonstrateexcellent design and analytical skills
7.Possessexcellent written and oral communication skills
8.Possessexcellent troubleshooting skills to very complex problems
9.Possessproduct knowledge about any Oracle application (e.g Agile, EDM, P4P, EBS, etc)is a strong plus
10.Possessexperience to handle security issues is a plusAnalyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
