Summary:
This role will be responsible for optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network. The accountability would include target customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy and safety stock levels for the portfolio of Stock Keeping Unit (SKU).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review safety stock and inventory levels as per policy
Regularly review and optimize inventory parameters and levels Places orders based on agreed lead time and volume parameters
Integrate new products, trials and maintenance into production schedules
Plan replenishment across the Distribution Centers (DCs) network
Policy owner of the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in line with customer requirements
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with the Manufacturing team
Manage the planning of the repacking activities
Accountable for quality and updates to the Material Master Data
Accountable for the supply policies i.e. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), scheduling
Work closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators
Run Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) functionalities
Review and resolve exceptions of Rough-cut Constraint Calculation and Master Production Plan
Prepare & assist in gap resolution as pre-work to the S&OP meeting
Intermediary between Demand Planning and Factory Planning
Drive the flexible of short term supply to resolve alerts of real time issues
Determine & review safety stock and inventory settings quarterly
Ensure the right safety stock levels are set in the entire network i.e. from plant to distribution center
Define ABC categorization in the safety stock settings
Review out of stock situations and define actions to avoid as per the service level categories
Responsible for the daily Deployment Requisition Planning based on the settings of the Inventory Function
Have daily contacts with the Order Desk to ensure fulfillment as per the service level agreements
Collaborate with Transportation/ Hauling to hand-over the Deployment Plan as per the schedule
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a supply chain function or similar, preferably in a multinational environment.
Good understanding of the planning process, inventory policies and methodologies
Job Requirements:
Full-time employment, Weekdays, Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM
Overtime may be required depending on the critical deliverables
