Analyst Programmer

Description: The incumbent will act as Developer and Analyst on the associated application to work with Senior Specialist to ensure that optimal, robust and sustainable solutions are designed using the SAP BW application to best meet the company strategic plan and business imperatives. Also to assist in application strategy and blueprint, application improvement, and other initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide good technical skills for the development and analysis of solutions
Assist with architecture analysis and designing of sustainable solutions; and deliver projects as part of the Group BI Programme Team
Drive change across the business with application expertise
Effectively communicate and facilitate key design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholders
Ensure timely and sustainable solutions delivered to support business requirements
Position Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science or related subjects
At least 5 years of relevant experience on Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solution design and development, ideally with exposure to SAP BW technologies in Retail industry
Experience in working in a support and development environment needed
SAP ERP exposure is an advantage
SAP BI knowledge Business Objects, HANA is essential
SAP ABAP on BW exposure is expected
Strong analytical mind with good communication & interpersonal skill
Customer-oriented; can work independently and deliver multiple small to medium size initiatives or projects
Good knowledge of multiple aspects of the retail industry is advantageous
Fluency in spoken and written English
