Responsibilities
• Performs Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation• Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions• Enters AR payments and credit card transactions if needed• Performs month-end closing and reconciliation• Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information• Performs bank reconciliation• Supports department peers as needed
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance• 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization• Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects• Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently• Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
