Accounting Staff - Auditing & Encoding

Accounting Staff support the accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.Responsibilities & Duties:Maintain and update accounting records and files.Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses).Reconcile bank statementsAnalyze transactions with internal and external contractors.Conduct month-end and year-end closuresPrepare documents for auditsReport to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor' degree in Accountancy or any related fieldExcellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheetsKnowledge of an accounting information system is a plusAttention to detail Strong organizational and communication skillsConfidentiality and integrityAbility to work independently and as part of teamCan start asap
