ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST Main responsibilities: Prepare and post general accruals and release prior accruals raised.Perform monthly revaluations of foreign currency bank revaluations.Maintaining the fixed asset register (including additions, disposals and depreciation) and posting related journals.Identify prepayments and prepare journals to recognise in correct accounting period.Responsible for reconciling all fixed asset, accrual and prepayment related Balance Sheet accounts.Assist the UK Management Accountant with general accounting tasks as need arises.Attributes: Positive in their outlook ? focuses on identifying solutions to problems.Able to demonstrate attentionThrives on the challenge of adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment in processes and/or systems and is comfortable working with information from multiple and sometimes complex sources. Qualifications: Part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualifications.Advanced Excel knowledge, must be proficient and able to work independently with Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and AX is an added advantage.
