Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an Accounting Associate who can work with us full-time and on-site! Where? Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu As an Accounting Associate, You are responsible for managing all our financial records, as well as reconciling bank financial statements. You should enter account information and calculate tax payments. You should also analyze costs, revenues, financial commitments, and growing financial trends. Requirements Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, expense reports, and bank reconciliations. Analyse financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. This may involve assessing budget variances, profitability analysis, or cost control measures. Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits calculations. Verify compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage accounts payable functions, such as invoice processing, vendor payments, and resolving payment discrepancies. Handle accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, collections, and reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Utilise accounting software and systems effectively to streamline processes, maintain accurate records, and generate financial reports. Proficiency in popular accounting software is often required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and management, to provide financial insights, resolve issues, and support decision-making. Effective communication skills are essential. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities promptly.
