Role Purpose Responsible for ensuring proper implementation of policies and procedures in safeguarding the Company’s assets and perform audit functions of all Branch/Company transactions. Prepare financial statements and external reports required by government agencies and other concerned parties.
Key Accountabilities
Financial Reports and Analysis
- Develop, prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Record and analyze the company's financial information.
- Assist in the compilation of information for the Company’s annual tax returns.
- Review the following reports: Daily Sales Report, Audit Notification Slip, Cashier’s Cash Collection Report, and Foreign Exchange.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget and forecast reports for top management.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Business Planning
- Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls.
- Ensure that accounting systems, processes and procedures are in place and followed by all members of accounting department.
- Analyze and interpret financial information that corporate executives need in order to make sound business decisions.
- Plan, coordinate and execute annual financial audit.
- Coordinate staff audit schedules and establish timelines for completion of achievable project goals.
- Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
People Management
- Monitor performance of staff against KPIs and ensure fulfillment of regularization/ non-regularization of employees based on set measures and timelines.
- Counsel and motivate employees in order to maintain high morale and discipline. Initiate necessary disciplinary action on erring subordinates.
