About JCAS LogisticsAbout the RoleJob Title: Accounting AssistantDepartment: Finance & AccountingReports to: Finance & Accounting ManagerPurpose: Responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management and recording financial transactions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for data entry and maintaining ledgers- Ensures payments and receivables are correct & updated- Bank reconciliation- Payroll preparation- Checks accuracy in reports, figures and postings- Reconcile and report any discrepancies- Prepares adjusting journal entries- Generate reports and statements for internal and external use- Assist in the preparation of monthly Financial Statements**Requirements**:Character Fit:- Dedicated, trustworthy and detail oriented- Team player, willing to learn and to be corrected, open to feedback- Yearning to serveWork Experience:- Fresh Graduates or best if 1-2 years experience in accountingEducational Background:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.**Skills**:- Proficient knowledge with Excel, Word and PowerPoint- Understanding of accounting and budgeting.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Benefits**:- Staff meals providedSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Accounting Clerk: 1 year (preferred)
