Accountant

Job Summary:The Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing all aspects of financial transactions and reporting. This role will involve preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and providing insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.Responsibilities:- Performing duties related to Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivable.- Day-to-day Accounting reports.- Posting of Journal Entries and monthly closing of books.- General Accounting data processing and reporting.- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.- Work closely with team members to assist in preparing month-end close and support managers across teams with financial procedures.- Responsible for success of accurate and timely of month-end close cycle.- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.- Responsible for assisting in the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements, and other related notes.- Reconcile account balances and bank statements and maintain a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.- Facilitate meetings with Management to review performance results to ensure organization stays on track with financial goals and expectations.- Work independently and collectively to achieve stated financial goals of organization.- Performs other duties as directed by the Management.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulationsBenefits:- Competitive salary package- Health insurance coverage- Retirement benefits- Paid time off and holidays- Career development opportunities- Positive work environment
