Accountant

Responsibilities-To set up and manage the Finance department of a new startup-Manage general accounting and other adhoc tasks as assigned-Manage and analyze budget and create financial forecasts-Prepare financial and cashflow statements in accordance with planned time schedule-Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information-Audit and reconcile financial transactionsRequirements and Qualifications-5-10 years relevant working experience in Accounting/Finance and/or Audit-Candidate with working experience for startup company will be favourably considered-Hands on experience with accounting software packages-Strong mathematical and analytical skills with proven proficiency in spreadsheet software-Proven ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously-Excellent oral and written communication skills-BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant and with a strong understanding of standards andprocedures-Professional certification (eg. CMA or CPA) will be preferred-Willing to be relocated and based in Sri Lanka
