BMG Outsourcing is currently looking for a motivated, positive and keen **Accountant **who will be joining a West Perth based team of Chartered Accountants and Certified Practising Accountants specializing in providing strategic accounting, taxation and business services.**Responsibilities**:- Preparation of financial statements for various business and investment entities, including the review and extraction of client data from client maintained MYOB and Xero data files;- Preparation of account reconciliations and supporting work papers utilising MYOB AE electronic workpapers;- Attend to the preparation of annual income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts;- Processing of self managed superannuation fund (SMSF) transactions and preparation of financial statements utilising Class software;- Assist in the management of recurring client accounting and tax compliance tasks, including business activity statement preparation;- Assist in the reconciliation of client MYOB and Xero data files;- Assist Perth based accounting team with various accounting and tax related tasks.**Job Qualifications**:- Minimum of 3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience with an Australian firm- Experience using Xero/MYOB (MYOB preferred)- Experience with working with Australian SMEs- Experience with Australian tax and accounting standards- Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts- Experience with relevant computer systems- The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies- Able to logically and clearly articulate status and situations and recommend solutions to problems as related by the company.- Generally able to work independently through tasks until completion.- Excellent personal time and task (To do list) management.- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines- High attention to detail- Must have strong communication skills, excellent work ethic and can work as part of a team- A friendly, committed, and flexible attitude- A positive attitude and a great willingness to learn**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:- 13th month salaryAbility to commute/relocate:- Angeles City, Pampanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Are you willing to work onsite?**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Australian Accounting / Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)- Australian Tax: 3 years (preferred)- Australian SMEs: 3 years (preferred)- MYOB/Xero: 3 years (preferred)- BPO: 3 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)
