2 Manual Testers (Eastwood, Libis)

THE POSITION - OVERVIEW Your role will be to ensure that software is produced and released in line with requirements, our quality standards and deadlines. You will be working as part of the Verification team to assist in the creation of automated testing suites for a range of different products and technologies. This includes desktop, web-based applications and APIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and maintaining our suite of tools for test development and reporting.
Coding automated tests, comfortable with testing frameworks and able to write code for UI testing, API testing and everything in between.
Partner with DevOps, Software Engineers and Verification Engineers to improve and automate test and release processes.
Designing Test Cases and setting up test data for execution.
Performing functional, integration, database, API and browser testing.
Understanding and mapping business processes to logical or procedural workflows.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Knowledge
You will be a proficient Software Engineer with skills in at least .net (C#) – anything else on top is a bonus.
Test management software (Ideally Ranorex & Test rail)
Able to read and write TSQL
Strong understanding of web-technologies, including REST.
Understanding of Software Engineering tools and build systems, e.g. Git, VSTS
Experience & Track Record
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Experience, within single and concurrent test projects in Manual and Automation testing.
Background / previous experience in software development or automated QA (C#, JS).
Familiar with the whole application development cycle.
Qualifications, accreditations, certifications, memberships
Computer Science degree or equivalent experience and knowledge.
Ideally ISTQB certified

Monday to Friday (12PM-9PM; Midshift)
