Job Description To supervise the various day-to-day activities of the warehouse inbound personnel and to act as coordinator for various areas of the warehouse operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal Shipments
Responsible for all concerns related to principal shipments.
Responsible in providing reports and data to principals and warehouse management regarding delivery discrepancies, damages, and other problems encountered during receiving of principal shipments.
Responsible in ensuring cold chain shipments are given top priority to be received and brought inside the cold room.
Receiving and Validation of shipment/stocks
Ensures inbound staff inspect and check completeness and accuracy of stocks from product description, batch/lot number down to ED and in accordance with the receiving SOPs.
Ensures that all stock shipments received in the warehouse are properly and completely documented.
Ensures item maintenance is correct, actual item matches with system maintained barcode number or EAN, dimension/packing to facilitate GR processing.
Ensures that warehouse commitment on lead-time regarding GR posting and putaway is met.
Warehousing/Safekeeping
Coordinator for all concerns related to warehousing/inbound operations.
Responsible in location transfers and work notes related to bin location transfers and maintaining warehouse locations at bulk and NEX location.
Ensures controls are in placed to keep? accurate physical inventory vs. system inventory for NEX and safekeeping stocks.
Administrative
Provides overall management and leadership to the outbound team.
Provide timely and accurate reports and data regarding warehouse operations.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of team against set targets and KPIs.
Responsible in coordinating with Inventory Group related to inventory transactions and reconciliation.
Responsible in updating documentation regarding warehouse operation procedures.
Responsible in maintaining harmonious working relationship among and between warehouse personnel.
Reviews, signs/approves request of warehouse supplies , necessary? packaging materials needed in his department.
Quality Management System in Warehouse Operations ( For Identified Personnel based on official list maintained by QAC Manager)
Considered as member of the QAC Team, (for Warehouse Operations) co-responsible with QAC Manager in the effective implementation and compliance of Receiving Operations in all applicable RQA Guidelines and MDI SOPs related to receiving of principal shipments ?to ensure? product quality and safety and continuous quality improvement in MDI processes and operations
Conduct sampling checks on the following (as listed below) warehouse operations to ensure that product quality is maintained and that company protocols and policies are adhered to. Any non-compliance is discussed with the concerned manager and/or supervisor, and then reported to the QA/QC Supervisor and QAC Manager.
Receiving Principal Shipments
Responsible in conducting QA inspection and QA releases for principal approved shipments
Others:
Initiates Inventory count and conduct recon in coordination with IMG? on items reported with discrepancies in NEX location
Assists during? physical inventory activities (wall to wall count) and other activities initiated by Management.
Implement 5S in the work area with the team
Acts as immediate? back up to other warehouse supervisors when the need arises
Adheres to Company rules and regulations at work? at all times
Reports safety violation and potential Hazard in support of the Safety initiatives of the Company.
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
EDUCATION REQUIRED
????? BS degree holder, preferably business related course from a reputable college or university.
LOCATION
Amenable to work in Manalac Avenue, Taguig City.
Office location will transfer to Sta. Rosa Laguna this year (Q4 - Year 2020)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
????? Minimum of three years experience in warehouse operations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Must have a thorough knowledge of? the warehouse operations.
Must have basic understanding of office work particularly the use of computer.
Must have a working knowledge about some basic accounting policies and procedures.
