Job Description Fluor is seeking candidates for the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio, TX.
Fluor's scope includes the design and construction of approximately four miles of elevated lanes, three in each direction, and associated interchanges at either end of the project.
The I-35 NEX South Project will add additional capacity to one of the most congested corridors in the state, which handles more than 140,000 vehicles per day.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Receiving Technician is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in receiving, warehousing, controlling inventory, issuing, record keeping, and the disposal of surplus for all project materials that fall under the direct control of the JV.
. Primary duty is to Create Goods Receipts in iSAP from the approved packing slips and upload packing slips to be attached to the Good Receipts entry so that invoices may be processed for payment in a timely manner
. Assist with checking all receipts to verify they are in accordance with accompanying shipping documents (packing slips/manifests, tags, and technical documentation) and that the correct number of packages or items has been received, noting any discrepancies
. Assist with the preparation of substitute packing lists for any shipment received without a packing list utilizing Form 000.470.F0002, Substitute Packing List
. Assist in the preparation of overage, shortage, and damage reports for shipments received with an overage, shortage, or damage and distribute the report per project procedures utilizing Form 000.470.F0006, Overage, Shortage, & Damage (OS&D) Report, and Form 000.470.F0007, Overage, Shortage, & Damage (OS&D) Register
. Maintain files in a secure area at all times
. Assist in the distribution and storage copies of packing lists and material receiving reports on the project shared directory in accordance with project procedures
. Assist with the periodic and cycle inventories
. Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements . A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to Management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
. Experience using PC based software including email and spreadsheets is required
. Experience with ERP systems is preferred
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

. Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications . High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent
. 3 years of warehousing experience
. Reasonably good interpersonal and communication skills
.
