The  Warehouse and Logistics Manager  oversees the overall warehouse and logistics department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Recommends optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency. Establishes or monitors specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems. Create policies or procedures for logistics activities. Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet delivery requirements. Train dispatching personnel in roles and responsibilities regarding logistics strategies. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records. Signs off on Incident Reports. Resolves problems concerning transportation, logistics, incoming shipments, deliveries and customer issues. Constantly monitors practices and suggests areas of improvement. Ensure proper warehousing standards and safety protocols—such as 5s, FIFO, etc. Ensures that management standards regarding profitability criteria (such as peso value, etc) are followed. Controls the expenses of the department to match budgetary allocations. Monitors and reviews the productivity and performance of personnel . Reports any unresolved problems to management. Performs other functions as required by the immediate superior.
