Participate in the administration and maintenance of the monitoring and management system: respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, periodic system review, etc.
Responds to escalated alerts and provides technical support for Voice Infrastructure services to ensure that service level agreements are met and incidents are appropriately addressed and communicated or escalated to management and vendors.
Creates, submits, and manages change requests and asset management updates to ensure timely completion and accurate record keeping.
Manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, Access Points, IPPBX and other hardware.
Maximise network availability and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting network problems, outages and scheduling upgrades.
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing global access control policies.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, database and software problems at the system and component level, utilizing a variety of testing routines, tools and equipment.
Assess potential VoIP equipment and software for performance, reliability, maintenance problems, cost, ease of use, and user satisfaction.
Serves as a technical resource on voice systems to management and staff; participates in and/or provides training as requested related to the IT equipment and software.
Repairs or replaces defective equipment and installs new equipment in voice systems; coordinates the maintenance and modification of systems by initiating service calls to vendors and monitoring their work.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Voice and Network
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory
Technical documentation and coaching skills.
Awareness of Enterprise IT change management.
Attention to detail.
Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession
Experience in International scope
Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
Customer service oriented
Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints
Willing to do some traveling
Experienced in delivering and supporting key Network and Voice technologies
Experienced in supporting a Global Network/Voice Infrastructure environment.
Experienced in working with different infrastructure technologies- This could include any of the following: Cisco, VOIP PBX, PALO ALTO, DNS, Loadbalancers, Scripting
Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills to investigate, diagnose, and rectify issues relating to the key technologies.
Experience in Scripting (Automation)
Experience in Cloud technologies
Knowledge in ITIL framework
