Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you manage IT Systems services such as, but not limited to, active directories, messaging, Internet, file sharing and storage systems, call and transaction recordings, applications, and/or other systems and services through data encoding and monitoring to ensure 24x7 operations and minimal service impact. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will provide early warning and rapid response for each and every alert.
As a Systems Hero, you will monitor systems health; perform troubleshooting; escalate incidents and requests to the next level of support for resolution. You will validate the alert and escalate to appropriate IT technicians to have the issue investigated further. You will investigate issues, resolve problems, and communicate status. You will perform routine health checks over and above automated monitoring to ensure the quickest detection time for service affecting issues. You will respond to any number of alarms, alerts, or abnormal behaviors detected through reactive or proactive monitoring. You will provide analysis through the monitoring systems to proactively identify systems and server related issues. You will monitor ticket queue for incoming service requests and respond/resolve issues as required. You will conduct regular maintenance such as server, storage, and database backup activities (i.e. automatic backup routines, testing data integrity, offsite storage of media). Copies all files from the servers to storage media for archiving and disaster recovery purposes. You will conduct equipment preventive maintenance, upgrades, as well as records maintenance to ensure that IT Systems infrastructure meets high standards of reliability and availability. You will generate periodic reports on systems performance; Provide metrics (internal and/or customer facing) to management as requested related to network performance. You will ensure all activities are documented and tracked through the ticketing system. You will execute established procedures as it relates to event, incident, and change management. You will adhere to escalation procedures, task procedures, and troubleshooting processes. You will maintain a team focused attitude and work towards creating a healthy, respectful atmosphere. You will perform these duties in a flexible fashion as the Network Operations Center is open 24x7x365. You will also participate and/or be part of the NOC continuous improvement activities as defined.

Requirements:
So, what is it we’re looking for?m Well since this is Systems Hero role, we need someone who has a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience in an engineering field. We also need someone who has a minimum of 2 years Systems Administration experience with in-depth hands on experience in OS X Operating Systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. We need someone with a working knowledge of scripting in a number of different languages (Example: Bash/Shell, PowerShell, Ruby).
You should also have an understanding of ITIL framework and Google G-Suite Administration. You also need to be a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2012 or VMware Certified Professional (VCP). Plus, experience in creating, utilizing, and maintaining technical documentation. Also, professional written and verbal communication skills.
