System Administrator

Work with the development team in building and supporting applications hosted on premise or in the cloud
Design and execute system architecture plan based on project requirements and specifications, prepare and configure server environments
Ensure security of the applications, servers, network and other digital assets by implementing access controls and enforcing security standards and policies
Investigate, troubleshoot and respond promptly to critical issues reported by clients, end-users or project stakeholders
Maintain optimal application and server performance, availability and security by monitoring status, analyzing behavior, updating programs, features and tools
Continuously learn and explore new technologies and best practices beneficial for the team and the company
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related courses
1 to 4 years of experience in Linux Server Administration (Ubuntu / CentOS / Amazon Linux)
Knowledge or experience with Shell Script
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and experience in Amazon Web Services
Knowledge or experience with Database Management Systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL
Knowledge and experience with Web Applications built using PHP, HTML5, CSS3
Knowledge or experience in Git Version Control system
