Supply Chain Management Senior Project Manager is responsible to manage Supply Chain Management process improvement project from its inception to execution.
He / she is responsible for scoping and analysis, implementation of new processes, change management and alignment with key stakeholders on managerial level.
This position is likely to grow into a Team Lead role.
Major tasks and responsibilities of position
Lead a group of global functional reports assigned to the project. Steer the accomplishment of the project plan and timelines.
Mentor in leadership, methodology, tools, people skills and navigating politics for the more junior project members.
Assure accomplishment of phases of a project, according to the applicable project methodology.
Ensure adherence to the established project methodology (deliverables, milestones, project standard tools). Contribute towards adaption of the deliverables based on project needs and prior expertise. Propose and implement best practices to maintain high quality in project methodology.
Manage the project stakeholders’ expectations and deliverables, respecting timelines and project plan.
Define and align the project plan with stakeholders from IT, business areas and corporate functions.
Ensure processes are appropriately documented. Manage risks and issue resolution as well as a proper escalation.
Manage appropriately change management and prepare organization for future changes related to a project.
Implement processes for global business partners, considering business, legal and tax requirements.
Communicate effectively with colleagues on different professional levels in an international and multi-cultural environment. Report the project status to Advisory Board members (on senior management level) and other stakeholders.
Set up a project budget (man-days) in strong alignment with the sales department. Review correct assignation of reported efforts, ensuring project stays in line with the globally assigned budget

Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences and personal characteristics necessary for successin this position)
University or commercial degree in Business Administration, Economics or relevant professional experience.
Experience of more than 5 years in managing large sized projects on a global scale.
Flexibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure. Available to travel, including on short notice.
Very good communication and presentation skills.
Leadership and coordination capabilities. Organized and structured.
Problem solving and proactive attitude.
Ability to build up trustful relationships.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are beneficial.
Good MS Office suite skills.
