Position Summary:The Strategic Data Analyst delivers value to their customer by taking data, using it to answer questions, and communicating the results to help make business decisions. The core responsibility of this role is to help others track progress and optimize their focus.Common tasks performed by the Strategic Data Analyst include:
Cleaning and organizing raw data.
Using descriptive statistics to get a big-picture view of their data.
Analyzing interesting trends found in the data.
Creating visualizations and dashboards to help the company interpret and make decisions with the data.
Presenting the results of technical analysis to business clients or internal teamsMajor Responsibilities:Responsible for the ownership of the tools, databases, and processes related to the sales strategy.
Active participant working collaboratively with sales management, operations, and finance to define revenue/sales plan targets into sales plan goals by territory and individual.
Provide analytical support and have a good understanding of sales channels and business models.
Deliver standard pipeline, referrals and other sales performance reporting by the department, region, and territory each period.
Provide analytical and ad-hoc support to sales management for advanced/periodic needs; includes evaluating the effectiveness of new performance metrics.
Create and maintain standard and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present commentary and analysis in written form to share insights from analysis and to support and influence decision making. Serve as an advisor to sales leadership on performance/results.
Monitors data and provides analysis to illustrate sales trends, identify weaknesses in current sales execution and support the future sales strategy.
Continually evaluate current processes and make recommendations for improvement, standardization and enhanced toolsets. Identify and execute on ideas to generate business intelligence and generate commercial benefit to the sales organization.
Provide support and training to end-users for reporting tools and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education: B.S. Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or Accounting.
Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of Analyst Experience. Entry Level from College is acceptable.
Travel Required: < 10%
Highly organized and detailed oriented.
Computer Skill:
o Proven Database and SQL Experience (preferred but not required)o Expertise in all Aspects of Microsoft Access and Excelo Highly Proficient at Internet ResearchAbove average verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
Daily attendance
Ability to adjust to varying priorities, project lists – must be flexible and able to handle more than one activity at a time.
Comfortable with Database creation and operations and the ability to manipulate large amounts of Data.
