Sr Qc Engineer

Tests software to ensure that developed products meet requirement specifications and are within quality criteria and standards
Develop test documentation such as test plan, test case, scenarios, create test data and identify defects within the software products
Create and execute automated test scripts and manual test cases using the standard tools utilized by the team.
Performs moderately complex functional, integration, regression, compatibility and performance tests
Build ownership and subject matter expertise on various product features
Can work independently and has ability to lead testing effort for product releases
Initiate and implement QE process improvements
Actively attends/conduct quality checkpoints such as peer reviews of manual/automated test cases and scripts
Work closely with cross-cultural development teams to ensure quality testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business, Computer Science, IT or related fields
4+ years of experience in Software Testing involving different software testing types.
Experience in using scheduling tool or accounting or project accounting systems or similar product.
Experience with Testing Processes and Defect Management
Strong communication skills
Good understanding of Scrum or other Agile methodologies
Goal-oriented, results-driven, team-player, self-starter, proactive
Experience with Test Automation
Knowledge on writing SQL queries would be an advantage
