Position - Sr. Executive, Medical Annotator

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university preferred
Certification in AI, Data Science related technology is a plus
Work Experience RequirementsMinimum 5 years of combined (field & administrative) work experience in healthcare
Minimum 2 years experience in a business process
· Minimum two (2) year’s experience as medical annotator or similar roles such as a Scribe or Medical Assistant
· Good background on Healthcare Data Standards encompassing methods, protocols, terminologies, and specifications for the collection, exchange, storage, and retrieval of information associated with health care applications, including medical records, medications, radiological images, payment and reimbursement, medical devices and monitoring systems, and administrative processes (also HIPAA, HEDIS, ISO13485)
· Preferably a PHRN
Basic FunctionOrganize and categorize medical content into groups of information by relevance
Assess varied formats and types of medical documentation or artifacts in terms of content and attach appropriate tags accordingly
Scrutinize medical documentation in order to identify patterns and improve accessibility of content by topics
Create reports of content groupings and patterns observed in medical documentation in such a way that are consumable by technical and non-medical professionals
Essential Functions
Explain healthcare processes and logic or reasoning behind annotations to help technical team in building digital solutions
Understand architecture of electronic medical documentation and mark up standards
Capture relevant data to drive AI solution

Skills Technical Skills
Strong computer skills with high proficiency in MS Office software to review material on computers and using computers to categorize content
Excellent organizational skills to establish proper classifications and apply them appropriately Process Specific Skills
• Minimum two (2) years experience as medical annotator or similar roles such as a Scribe or Medical Assistant
