Job Overview As a Senior DevSecOps & Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing cloud-based systems on AWS and Azure. Your responsibilities will include writing, maintaining, and supporting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and ISO 27001 compliance standards. You will collaborate closely with application development teams to automate build pipelines, streamline deployment processes, implement advanced security measures, and manage patching and maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will be instrumental in optimizing infrastructure costs and enhancing incident management procedures. Responsibilities: Maintain infrastructure, including incident management, monitoring, and change management. Support application development teams by managing releases, setting up new infrastructure and overseeing build pipeline management. Automate processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Perform patching and ongoing maintenance tasks. Uphold ISO 27001 compliance and enforce security policies. Manage incidents effectively and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum 2 years of programming experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer. Industry certifications in AWS/Azure are desirable. Proficiency in Linux, Bitbucket Pipelines, scripting, and orchestration tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc. Understanding of release and change management processes and ITIL principles. Knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC2 standards. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, PHP, .NET, etc.). Experience with webservers & proxies (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and log aggregation tools (e.g., New Relic). Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
