Sr. Building Engineer

Scope of Work:
The Sr. Building Engineer role is to establish and direct the Overall objectives ensuring deadlines are met. He /She develops ideas and oversees the creation and improvement of elements and system components that involve the engineering Department
Job Responsibilities:
Primary internal contracts are with entire organization through daily contact and problem-solving oriented team meetings
Works with Engineering Leadership team to determine how Engineering is performing against budget and highlights areas of concern to leadership
Develops an Engineering operating Strategy that is aligned with the property business Strategy
Follows up work in progress, controls regular maintenance and routine inspection
Liaises with Property management on day to day maintenance
Monitors spot checks on Property areas and equipments / machinery’s
Conducts periodic inspection tours to check work progress and condition of building and equipment
Implements training in fire & Safety ( in coordination with BFP – Bureau of Fire Protection , SOPI - Safety Organization of the Philippines , MMDA – Metro Manila Development Authority , PNRC – Philippine National Red Cross )
Prepares reports on tasks and maintenance requirements
Provides in-house mechanical and electrical servicing, repair and maintenance using well-trained, well – groomed personnel carrying out maintenance works in an efficient, discreet and Tenants friendly manner
Plans and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations
Continually monitors the responsible use of energy in the property, and implements measures resulting in energy cost savings
Keeps updated with the latest technologies and new product in the market (local / international)
Attends to pre-construction meetings to ensure compliance of tenants prior to the construction and fabrication of blueprint plans.
Inspects the construction progress of the tenants to ensure compliance and prevent mistakes that are too costly to rectify in the end.

Qualifications:
Licensed Mechanical Engineer
5 to 10 years of experiences in Hotel and Resort / Clean Room (Semicon) / Commercial / Residential / Facilities and Property Management
