Site Engineer

Job DescriptionOrganize materials and ensure sites are safe and clean.Prepare cost estimates and ensure appropriate materials and tools are available.Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment as required.Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.Authorize technical drawings and engineering plans.Draw up work schedules and communicate any adjustments to crew members and clients.Gather data, compile reports, and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders.Delegate tasks and schedule meetings and training sessions where required.Complete quality assurance and provide feedback to the team.Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and to ensure that they are followed correctly.Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.QualificationBachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or similar.Has HVAC BAckgroundA driver's license.State-issued certification or engineering licenseConsiderable experience in a similar positionIn-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and designProficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) softwareFamiliar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation softwareProven track record for managing personnel and material resourcesExemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skillsStrong time management and project management skillsActive listening and verbal communication skillsAbility to use the scientific process to solve problemsDedication to learning new concepts and strategies
