Job Description Netatech is currently searching for an experienced engineer with technical proficiency in either civil, geotechnical, or hydraulic engineering to join the Stormwater Management team in Manila Philippines as a Senior Technical Consultant. The Senior Technical Consultant will support a growing base of projects throughout the region.

The candidate must have a strong background in infrastructure projects including Erosion Embankment, Retaining Wall Structure, Weir, Stormwater/Water Resources projects. He/she will be heavily involved in the preparation of drainage studies, run-offs, climate change analyses, coastal engineering, bioengineering, reclamation, and large-scale master planning
Your Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership role for the stormwater engineering team to help successfully manage multiple projects
Serve as Technical Design Lead for infrastructure, dams, levees, flood protection and marine facility feasibility studies or alternatives analysis, and detailed design.
Act as an advisor to the team regarding project proposals, schedules, tasks, and operations
Review developers, and main-contractor applications and project plans for compliance with the government stormwater standards and specifications, adopted facilities plans, policies, and regulations
Conduct analysis, design & hydraulic calculations, and preparation of technical reports for diverse projects including open channels, pump stations, WSUD Features (Bioretention basins & Swales, Eco-ponds & Biotopes, Wetlands, Detention system), mitigation of drainage system
Complete and review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for floodplain studies, watershed master plans, regional flood mitigation projects and stabilization and restoration projects.
Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports, Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimates, responding to construction Requests for Information (RFIs), working with Improvement Plans and coordination with specialty practices and management of Consultants, including PUB-Singapore, landscape architects, geotechnical, environmental, and other subsurface utilities.
You will be required to:
liaise with Singapore-based Consultants and Engineering professionals in leading moderate to integrated drainage design projects for a diverse client base, and coordinate with other technical disciplines including Architects, Civil & Structural Engineers, MEP, Landscape Architects, and other related Consultants.
have deep knowledge in water resources, treatment and stormwater engineering concepts, principles, and practices, applicable laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures.
be able to use a diverse range of design software, and hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modelling software including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Sketchup, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM
Other Stormwater and hydraulic modelling software for design evaluation, inspection, presentation, and clashing detections and reviews.
mentor junior designers and develop a good design practice and standards. Adaptation of modern engineering principles, methods, techniques and standards to the design and construction of projects.
travel periodically for training, coordination meetings, site inspections and evaluation.
You will need to have:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental with at least ten (10) years of engineering plan review, construction, stormwater, hydraulics, and geotechnical engineering experience.
Master?s degree in any of the following discipline: Hydrology & Stormwater Management, Hydraulics, Geotechnics, Bioengineering, Coastal and Environmental Engineering
A valid PRC license as Civil Engineer or Equivalent.
You should be residing in the Philippines.
Experience within the region will be an added advantage.
