As a Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining pipelines that are essential for the transportation of oil and gas.
Responsibilities: Conduct research and analysis to develop, design, and test pipeline systems Create project plans, timelines, and budgets Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Evaluate and maintain records of pipeline performance, identifying areas for improvement Ensure that projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve pipeline efficiency Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering Minimum of 10 years of experience in pipeline engineering and project management Strong knowledge of pipeline design, construction, and maintenance practices Experience working with various pipeline materials such as steel, plastic, and composite materials Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as ASME B31.3 and API 570 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with others
