Senior Fullstack Java Developer

Job Description:
Uploan’s technology assets include (but not limited to) our client facing web and mobile applications, internal IT tools used by our operations, and our internal data flow system.


As Senior Fullstack Java Developer you will be responsible for further improving and enhancing Uploan’s end to end digital lending platform and other products and services we have built. This may include client facing applications or internal applications we have built to support our business. The candidate should have significant experience in software development and is expected to be a full stack web developer and/or full stack mobile developer.


Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders for the requirements gathering, system design and work verification Create and maintain automated unit/integration tests Write secure, high performant and maintainable code (mainly in Groovy on Grails, and Java) Manage and maintain production applications Mentor Mid and Junior level developers Minimum Qualifications:
5 years minimum experience Strong analytical and planning skills Good communication and presentation skills Excellent problem-solving skills Core skills Java, Spring, Hibernate Git Agile Methodologies (like SCRUM and XP) Web UI development and/or Mobile UI development
That is, either knowledgeable in HTML/CSS/JS and modern web frameworks like ReactJS, Vue.JS, Angular, etc, or knowledgeable on native mobile development using Objective-C/Swift, Android Java, and/or Kotlin Unit Testing Basic system admin knowledge
