Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is a servant leader who is responsible for ensuring that Scrum teams live Agile values and keep Agile methods running. The responsibilities include coaching and leading teams for continuous improvement, clearing impediments, establishing a healthy and productive environment, ensuring good relationships within the team and stakeholders, as well as individual coaching and mentoring to achieve transparency and self-organization.

Responsibilities

- Serve as consultant and Scrum expert
- Guide and support teams to deliver value more effectively
- Facilitate sprint rituals and manages artifacts
- Monitor data for transparency and continuous improvement (Burndown, velocity, etc.)
- Help uncover and resolve impediments, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Coach and give constructive feedback to team members
- Remove blockers and unnecessary noise in a professional manner
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between the team members and stakeholders
- Promote a healthy environment and culture across the team
