Details of the offer

The Reporting Service Owner will assume responsibility and accountability as the Owner for all processes, guidelines/standards, workforce planning, and business/technology infrastructure necessary to support reporting needs of attorneys, professional business functions, geographies and practices.
Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for all reporting service design components, including process maps, service catalog, responsibilities matrix, infrastructure needs, pricing, and roll-out plans
Gather all reporting requirements, including key performance indicators and metrics, across key Firm stakeholder groups and ensure all are addressed in the service design
Develop reporting guidelines in a manner that meets business needs while maximizing efficiencies
Collaborate with Service Center teams to ensure members are adequately trained, meeting performance goals, and aligned with overall service objectives
Leverage technical skills and background to enable process automation where possible and drive the development of bespoke solutions (e.g., macros, scripts, etc.) to solve business problems as they arise
Continually seek new and innovative ways to present value-added
financial and non-financial data and its contextual interpretation to senior leadership and colleagues around the Firm
Develop and execute training for end-users, including lawyers, in-market business partners, and functional teams
Design and define global reporting taxonomy and ensure that it is clearly communicated along with close governance around its application
Align key stakeholders (customers, business unit leaders, management, etc.) on the direction of the global reporting processes and drive firm-wide adoption of the reporting standards
Collaborate with technology resources to recommend solutions to improve integration and streamline processes to support reporting effectiveness and improved customer experience
Identify and track all service level agreements and associated KPIs to ensure service performance is meeting expected thresholds
Measure and report on key performance metrics, highlighting issues/areas for improvement and developing required action plans

Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree focusing on Financial Management, Accounting, Data Analytics, Statistics or other related areas
Extensive post-qualification experience in corporate financial management, financial reporting or professional services
Extensive hands-on experience in using SAP Business ObjectsEnterprise Tools, Share Point, Tableau, PowerBI, and other analytics/visualization tools
Expert-level skills in Excel including experience in VBA and Data Modeling (e.g. Power Query, PowerPivot)
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC reporting capabilities
Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders and partners regarding reporting processes, guidelines and compliance
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including learning new skills when required
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative
