Job Description:
Develops an overall Sales and Distribution strategic direction and prepares an integrated two-year plan of action with a prudent budget to meet corporate targets. Guides the different Sales and Distribution sections (BibleHouses, SMOs, Shipping, MTBO Bible Distribution, and RABOs) in the development of their own objectives and plan of action that align with the overall direction of Sales and Distribution Department. Directs the team in the analysis of historical data and current market trends. Strengthens standards and programs for Bible advocacy (i.e. BRIMS) using all channels of communications/ multi-media, to increase customer knowledge and awareness of PBS products and services. Develops standards of salesmanship to equip Sales Team to meet their sales budget. Conducts analysis of product and monitors category performance for branding and better market positioning. Formulates and implements the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction highlighting “service difference”. Establishes a system that captures market (a) trends, customers’ needs and wants (b) opportunities and (c) threats from competitors, to enhance corporate presence and product positioning in the marketplace. Initiates the engagement of a professional advertising agency to strengthen awareness and visibility of PBS. Initiates and monitors the timely development of promotional materials. Oversees the free distribution of Scripture products, membership solicitation, and development. Minimum Qualifications:
College graduate, preferably with a master’s degree or graduate units in Business Management or Marketing. With at least five (5) years of experience in a related field. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate cross-culturally. Able to lead a team, develop strategies and implement action plans. With good oral and written communication skills. Computer literate. Knows how to drive and has a valid driver’s license. Willing to go on regular travels to visit regional offices
