R&D Specialist

Qualifications Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Food Tech, or BS Packaging Engineering 1 year in any manufacturing industry (Food Industry) working under Quality Department, R&D, or in the Laboratory Must have very good or excellent knowledge of QC tools, Root cause analysis, or any Problem-solving tools Has basic knowledge of Quantitative and Qualitative Chemistry, QMS, GMP, and HACCP system Can work efficiently with less supervision and a team player. Willing to work in Tingub, Mandaue City Work Summary: The R&D specialist is responsible for ensuring all new raw materials (RM) are properly evaluated and qualified prior to use in Production. He/ she shall facilitate new product development initiatives as well as changes or revisions to packaging product specifications and ensure that all changes in product specifications are properly documented and cascaded. He/ she shall oversee preparing Packaging Samples as requested by Customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees new product developments and changes or revisions as per the Customers' requirements. Plans and spearheads production line trials for new raw material and product qualifications or evaluation runs (For Flexible/ Houseware/ Film Extrusion) Ensures that all Customer Requirements are translated into a Packaging Material Specification (PMS) Facilitates preparation of Packaging samples as requested by the Customers. Reviews all Work Instructions pertaining to the quality control tests being conducted on the Laboratory or in the Production Area and ensure these are updated and followed. Job Type: Full-time
