Quality Assurance Inspector

A Quality Control Inspector ensures that all products meet customer specifications, quality and product safety requirements. Their duties and responsibilities include:- Inspecting incoming materials through visual and measurement tests by confirming to specifications, recommending its approval or rejection.- Inspecting in-process output samples with reference to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality- Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements- Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database- Monitoring the production team on quality control measures during production- Final lot inspection- Proposing improvements to the production process such as conceptualization & development of efficient measuring jigs, fixtures if possible with automation as feasible- Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements- Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training- Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.Quality Control Inspector skills and qualifications- Graduate of 4 or 5 year course ideally engineering graduate- Newly graduates are welcome- Good written and verbal communication skills- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Keen attention to detail- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers- In-depth understanding of company standards- Up-to-date knowledge industry standards and best practices- Documentation and reporting skills- Teamwork and collaboration- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate**Salary**: Php15,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Company Christmas gift- Employee discount- Free parking- Health insurance- On-site parking- Opportunities for promotion- Paid training- Pay raise- Promotion to permanent employeeSchedule:- 12 hour shift- Shift systemSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Overtime pay- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Valenzuela: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Quality Assurance: 1 year (preferred)
