Quality Assurance Engineer (Software Automation) (Manila)

We are looking for aQuality Assurance Engineer (Software Automation)to join our Agency Trading engineering team. You will be working with the Manila Engineering team with some interaction with different teams / services in other regions and time zones. You will be involved in backend testing for a variety of products.
The person we are looking for will be responsible to develop, execute and maintain continuous automated tests to ensure product quality and performance. The QA team plays an important role in our company’s product development process, ensuring products are released on time with a good level of quality.
We are looking for people with a genuine interest in testing who can troubleshoot with a high degree of self-initiative. We also look for team minded people who enjoy interacting with others.
Responsibilities
Review requirements / specifications to provide meaningful feedback in a timely manner
Create detailed, comprehensive,well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automated scripts
Run and maintain automated regression tests
Liaise with internal / external parties to clarify system requirements
Setup and maintain testing environments

Your profile
Graduated from a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science (or similar), you have a professional experience in software development with relevant experience in testing and QA processes. The following skills and abilities are essential:
Proven work experience in software development / software quality assurance
Experience in writing unit tests using Java/JUnit or Groovy/Spock or similar
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Solid communication skills - verbal and written
Solid problem analysis and problem solving skills with an attention to detail
Open minded team player

The position is suitable for a QA with proven experience on automation.
